Embrace Grace
Partner Highlight: Embrace Grace
At its heart, Embrace Grace works by partnering with local churches to create judgment-free support groups where pregnant women and single parents can find emotional, spiritual, and practical support.
Their philosophy is often described as “Pro-Life is a stance. Pro-Love is the action.”
Love Without Judgment.
Hope Without Limits.
Embrace Grace has several primary programs:
- Embrace Grace — a 12-week support group for single and pregnant women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. Women receive mentorship, encouragement, practical resources, Bible-based teaching, and often a baby shower at the end of the program.
- Embrace Life — a longer-term support program for single mothers after birth, helping them with parenting, spiritual growth, friendships, and life skills.
- Embrace Legacy — a support program for single fathers navigating unexpected parenthood.
They also provide:
- Church leader training and curriculum
- Volunteer resources
- “Love Boxes” for pregnant women considering their options
- National church partnerships
- Podcast and storytelling content focused on hope and redemption
Their model is highly relational and church-centered. Rather than functioning primarily as a housing ministry or clinical service provider, they focus on:
- emotional support,
- community connection,
- reducing shame,
- spiritual encouragement,
- and practical help through local churches.
A major emphasis is helping women feel welcomed by the church instead of judged or isolated during pregnancy.
Embrace Grace identifies strongly with the pro-life movement, but intentionally frames itself as “pro-love,” emphasizing compassion and support rather than political activism. Their founder, Amy Ford, started the ministry after personally experiencing shame and lack of support during her own unexpected pregnancy.
Today, they report having:
- support groups in all 50 states,
- over 1,200 church-based groups,
- and tens of thousands of participants impacted through their programs.
Their emphasis on reducing shame, mobilizing churches, and building supportive community aligns closely with our mission of empowering single pregnant women toward “stability and dignity.”
